Just wondering who here still has a landline? I know there are a lot of people that now only use a cell phone. Personally I like having a landline in my house and when I'm home usually only use that.

I have, but without a phone :jk

I paid monthly for the line service without having phone

before three months I was using a router to use the internet, and I was using that landline, but now I didn't
nearly I used my printer to send faxes, but it isn't that important

why didn't I cancel the landline phone? I really don't know :p

Yes. Our cell service sucks at our home, and I don't much like talking on mobile phones. We only have the basic landline service though.

I haven't had a landline for about 5 years. Even before that I didn't have it for very long. I just figured I'd check it out and see if it was ever used.

I have Verizon DSL so landline actually comes with the package I have. But even if I didn't, I'd still keep it I think.

We still have a land-line - and a real phone in the closet. They don't go out when the power goes out. We'll unplug the cordless and hook up the ol' slimline one...:cool

That is the only advantage I can think of. When the power goes out, no cell service, a corded phone will always work.
