Do you still have a landline?

I dont but my parents have both, I think its mainly for my grandma though because she lives with them and refuses to use a cell phone, she says they are to complicated

I still have a landline. My cell long distance plan sucks but with the landline, it's dirt cheap...so for now it stays.

Its good for when hurricanes take out your power lines but leave the phonelines intact. So basically im paying money on the offchance that theres a hurricane coming my way.

We have VOIP though Shaw. Unlimited long distance NA.. so it's something I use daily cuz my fam is all back east. And to have unlimited long distance on my cell would cost my first born and I am kind partial to him.. LOL.

I have one, but only because I need one for my Internet (the DSL), otherwise I wouldn't have one, mobile works fine.

I have a landline. I always make calls on it unless I'm not at home.

We have one and we use it. It's still much cheaper than using the cell phone, especially as we have a flatrate for our landline.

I do not own a cellphone.

In fact,I am using this landline for my Windows 98 dial up computer.

Just wondering who here still has a landline? I know there are a lot of people that now only use a cell phone. Personally I like having a landline in my house and when I'm home usually only use that.

I am like you. I still have a landline and when am at home will only use that. I like it for the fact that when documents are needed to be faxed etc, I can always hook up my fax machine rather than go to the Postal Connection to receive faxed documents or even send them

yes we have one but need it for the net .. also in my house in many places in the house can not call with the mobile ....don't work good
a lot of times we end up going outside ..anyway the bill is not much mostly we pay for the line ... we dont use it a lot ....actualy i don't use my mobile a lot either i pay a dollar a month most times

I am a lodger at my current place, if I do get a place, I doubt if I would need a landline, simply because fibre optic is available. I would prefer that type of internet over landline
