No, you're not alone, I prefer Imax screen when the good movies I really want to see are released. There's nothing can beat the cinema experience itself, in my opinion thoughtsMaybe it's just me, but I feel like a lot of movies need to be seen on the big screen to be properly appreciated.
That is just terrible :/Our closest local theater was bad pre-covid. It is even worse now. Nasty inside and outside, bathrooms never cleaned, the film might start on time but likely not. Even when the film starts on time they might run the wrong one in the wrong theater. It might have sound but often not.
It was hit by a bad storm several years ago and stayed closed almost 2 years. If it closed again it would be a mercy killing. There are some nice theaters in larger cities but ours is just poorly managed & understaffed. That is just terrible :/
Oh! I want to see that! Not sure I'll have the time before it's out of theatres, though.I still go occasionally. I actually just went to see the new D&D movie, which was great!
Me too and I like to watch movies with my familyI no longer go to the cinema. I am so busy at work and during the weekend, I am helping my sister in the mall with my milk tea business.
