If possible you can keep a domestic cat, domestic cats are not as expensive to care for as Angora / Persian cat breeds. Like all my domestic cats, but he's still funny and entertaining.

If you don't want to be expensive, just buy your daughter a cat doll. Very good idea right? They're both cute and adorable but don't need special care, apart from occasional washing to keep them clean. LOL

I will agree with you, a doll cat will suffice so as not to disappoint the child more. Cats are expensive to maintain

I am a cat lover. I used to have cat when I was a kid. She loved to sit on my lap when I was doing homework. I was so sad when she passed due to illness. Now, I do not have a cat because my place is too small.
