She didn't resist. She was standing to the side and he grabbed her.The officer didn't "attack" her, he was trying to arrest her and she resisted.

Which one were you talking about? The one in cuffs? She was standing in one spot while the officer was chasing down that punk ass kid.
When he looked back over she'd moved and was wandering away with some of her friends. In his eyes he's not going to know that she wasn't leaving, just moving out of the way of pedestrians.
Again, he had no idea if she was trying to flee. Overuse of power to subdue someone who's breaking the law my ass. If they'd all just have shut up and left none of this would have happened.
They're 100% in the wrong. The law is the law, if you're not going to respect the law or the persons who took the oath to uphold it, you're going to get subdued and taken to jail. Period.
Yes, I agree they broke the law. I just disagree that he had to resort to such violence when one was clearly handcuffed on the ground and the others were just trying to not make the cop choke their freind anymore. Just because you have a badge doesn't mean you shouldn't be stopped.
Honestly I didn't find him holding onto her like that very violent. He could have easily peppersprayed them or threatened to use the billie club or night stick. He could have had them at gun point if he felt his life or his safety was in danger.
Meh, we could debate this all night. I just think he should have radioed for backup sooner so they could just clear the scene up faster.
I think it was too much. He went to far, those kids were harming nobody, I don't think he needed to use so much strength
It may or may not have helped. Punk ass kids who don't understand that they were breaking the law will smart off to cops thinking they're funny whether there's one or 4 officers.
Well, they were breaking the law and judging by how immature they acted when confronted and told to leave, they could have hurt someone. They should have disbanded and left. They kept egging the officer on.
IMO they got what they deserved - they'll learn their lessons early, and they'll take that experience and hopefully, if a next time arises, they'll handle it much better than they did here.
You guys are really getting out of hand with the "teenage punk ass kids" bullshit. For real, not all teenagers are "punk ass kids". OUt of the maybe 4 times I've been in trouble with the law, I've treated the officer with respect and politeness, I don't run off at the mouth, nor do I try to run. Not all kids are punks, some are. And not all skateboarders are punks either.
