at some point in time in the history of mankind, there was a man named Jesus, that i believe to be true
It all depends on if you're religious or not. You have to be a little more specific. Was Jesus God's son or not? Is Jesus God? Was Jesus really born immaculately concepted to the Virgin Mary? There's so many things you can ask about Jesus.
I believe that Jesus exists and is God's son. I believe in The Virgin Mary and that God did give her Jesus to be born. I believe in a lot. Sometimes seeing isn't the only way to believe.

I find it impossible to believe that an invisible person who nobody has ever seen or heard speak (without being on the drugs) can impregnate someone.

Dana a Virgin can conceive. You don't need your cherry popped to conceive a child. You can get pregnant on your first time having sex.
But that's besides the point. Everyone has their beliefs and I don't think that people should be put down for those beliefs. Just like everyone is entitled to their own opinions no matter what subject it is.

Seriously though, the Jesus you're talking about probably existed but I seriously doubt he had magical powers though he may have knocked around with 12 of his home boys.

Well, what do you think? What I've read and seen on shows such as the History Channel is there is no historical record of Jesus, that is no city/state records. The only record of Jesus is in religious based scripts (mostly written hundreds of years after his life) that were turned into the Holy books we know to day. What does this prove? Really nothing, but there is no standard of proof. JRR Tolkien wrote extensively about Middle Earth and there is just as much basis for believing in Hobbits .

Your Peter statement is based on reading this in a book. The problem for those who question traditional religious dogma is why should trust be placed in this book as representative of the truth- something real or a glorified fairy tale? As Atheists like to say, might as well believe in pink dragons too.
Could these beliefs be based on wishful thinking, ideas drilled into your head as a child, or just a vague hopeful something feeling? I mean the latter could be true. I sense something spiritual, but I can't put my finger on it.When I find myself in debates is when people want to talk specifics. God is "this" with "these rules" if not followed result in "this punishment". It's these kind of specifics that are pure conjecture and mostly promoted for the purpose of manipulation, control, and/or self enrichment by people who have convinced themselves of the truth and want to convert others or by outright scam artists looking for the good life here on Earth.

there aren't any mentions of Jesus's miracles in secular history, and no references to his existence at all. Other than the Bible, of course. Which you really can't count as fact.
So no, I would say I'm 99.9% sure Jesus didn't exist. And I'm 100% sure he didn't perform any miracles.
