if they are the first one (sata) you can move that hard drive to somebody else's computer and it will run as a slave hard drive and you can then take your data off from there. if it is the second one, you may be SOL...

If it's the second one you can pop off a cap on the jumper pin and it'll act as a slave (for a Western Digital anway.) There should be something similar for other hard drives.

Something to consider with the video card though. When you reset your computer the video drivers will start working (assuming you installed them.) When it fired back up it might have put the screen at a resolution too high for your monitor pushing your taskbar and icons off the screen. To change your resolution just right click the desktop, hit properties, and go to the settings tab. Drop the res really low to see if everything pops back up on screen. If it does, just raise the res a bit at a time to find the proper one for your screen (unless you know it, then just set the proper one.)

Go back into safe mode, and run a full system scan. I believe it'll run through a CMD so don't worry when you see a bunch of text on screen. Let it do it's thing and you should be alright.

Try what I said with AVG to get rid of the excessive pop-ups. You might also want to consider Firefox if you haven't already done so:

It won't fucking let me open any link or go anywhere either then gmail and this forum for some fucking reason. Whenever I upon up a link it just goes to some random advertisement and whenever type in anything it simply doesn't load! Fuck!

Try using IE or any other browser you might have. If it still does that try booting into safe mode with networking and downloading AVG and installing it from there. SpyBot S&D would be another good one to try. Regardless of where you download it from, you should run the scan in safe mode for a virus/spyware infection this bad.
