I am in the same boat. Never really given it much thought. Should be interesting though.

Hmm. In the event that someone's argument and debate points are valid enough but a certain part contains a factual error and this 'part with error' is used to form a point - should that be counted against them?

I'd say if the other person doesn't pick up on it then maybe no? Since we're not supposed to be judging on whether we agree, it doesn't really matter what the facts are, but more how they present and defend them. I reckon anyway!

Urgh, I don't know. I don't know anything much about Peter and Ana's debate and I probably won't research it either to choose who to vote on, so if one of them got something wrong - by accident - then it wouldn't affect my choice of who actually argued it better, that's all.

I guess if it were a glaring mistake it'd be different.
