I have no idea what that really means.... but it sounds good. I love cake!

.... and as far as viciousness in threads.... that can be found pretty much in all the areas at times. Debate or otherwise. *shrugs*

Personally.... I look at the thread.... Not where it resides. If the topic interests me, I'll post. If not.... I don't. It's funny how so many little things get blown out of proportion. Makes one wonder what the real agenda might be. :ninja

Just a reminder from the rulez section that V made:

Moderators will be chosen by myself. We will let the members give us suggestions, but overall the decision is mine. As far as the mods we have right now, I am gonna move them around to different areas. Our mods are going to be lax on you guys and not infract you for everything under the sun. However, this site is NOT gonna turn into alot of people being rude to each other and taking it out of hand. If the mods notice drama going on, they will PM you about it. I do not want threads to be about constant fighting. I want this site to be fun- not full of drama. Please remember, mods are not here to make it miserable.. they are here to ensure yall have a good place to have fun at.

I thought it would be easier for everyone to reread the part in red..... rather than sending out many many many PM's.

For future reference, had someone approached me w/ some common decency and asked for the threads to be left in GD until it was done, we could've compromised. But instead it jumped straight to a nasty attitude, as usual. I don't care who does and doesn't like me, but I'm not going to go out of my way to please someone who is only going to be consistently nasty in return anyway.

Apparently it's nasty if you question the decisions of the almighty staff... in case you haven't been able to tell over the last two years, I'm an incredibly sarcastic person and speak my mind. I don't sugarcoat a thing, and apparently that's more than some of you can handle.

I hope you realize that what you basically said was that you're taking your ball and going home, right?

I might not agree with the decision to move the threads, but the immediate response to the move was not polite. There's no harm in asking nicely once and then taking your cues from the reaction you get.

If the mods had been asked politely then maybe there'd be more room for complaint here, but there's a difference between being blunt and just being full on rude. I like retro, but I would not have responded the way he did if I really wanted to get my threads moved to their original home.

I mean really??!!! Tash is not only a great member on this board who I haven't seen get into it with anyone, but she's also one of the more lax mods.

She moved a DEBATE thread to the DEBATE area.

Move past it. Fuck, be a little grateful. I personally think the two of your having your debate tournaments and asking people NOT to post in them is a little presumptuous. What if I wanted to post in there and ruin it for everyone? It's not against the rules.

Yall are being allowed to have this special tournament, not just by the Mods and Staff of OTz, but by all the members here who respect your wishes.

Just be glad some one's not in there fucking it up for all of you. Let alone what stupid area it's in!!!
