So how about you? Does Mrs. Palin scare you, too?
All politicians scare me

The only time they scare me is when they start talking. Then you know they are lying and you can't trust em!:cool
Lol, these guys are suspected and probable terrorists, who have openly stated their hatred for America, and all you are concerned about if they are released is THEIR SAFETY? What about OURS?No because there is no place to house the suspects. They should be either charged with a crime immediately, or set free, but where do they go? No one would want them, and if they are allowed on the street, they may be killed by vigilantes. They must be kept safe. They could be deported, but they may be killed on their return, so it's a bit of a tough choice.
Obama is saying it's time we start behaving responsibly out of one side of his mouth, then calling for even more money to throw into the bottomless balout pit out of the other side. He doesn't seem to get that promising that gov't will be there to pull your ass out of a fire promotes irresponsibility.
Wow! Let's count the unsupported assumptions boys and girls. So your saying that you would rather have a guy who would dig us a deeper hole by an all across spending freeze? And whose ideas are so out there and non-achievable and your saying you want to get rid of the President who actually knows what he's doing?
:homo:I'd like to see him back up his responsibility rhetoric by closing the congressional purse and letting businesses take responsibility for their own bad decisions.
history has proven a govt can not spend its way out of a recession. We had such hand wringing over how Reagan sent the budget deficit into orbit. Where are those people now. What Reagan did pales compared to thisI see the Republicans are refusing to back his economic policy and thus delaying it. Of course they will be the first ones to jump on the bandwaggon and slag him off if it fails.
well done GrasshopperI agree Alien.
With you there. I think the after-effects of even the most recent bailout (and similar efforts) shows that as well. People who were defaulting on their homes 8 months ago and got some financial help to continue making payments are now defaulting again. Banks who were going to use the bailout money to stabilize themselves used the money, but they're still going bankrupt. Nothing that the stimulus package or bailouts were supposed to do has helped in a degree even close to how much it is going to cost us to repay down the road.history has proven a govt can not spend its way out of a recession. This is sheer madness
Yup Yup.
If a friend comes to me complaining of owing too much money and asks for my help, I assume he means with his budget and repayment plan. It's just bad business to lend money to someone so that they can pay someone else who loaned them money.
Reminds me of that cocaine commercial years ago.
