Matt and I took Riley out and were just in front of the building. We heard a clicking sound on one side of the building. Couldn't see any movement. Heard it a couple more times, and then when it came again, it was on the other side of the building. I felt like it sounded like it was coming down the building after a bit, but Matt said it was the same spot.

We've guessed squirrel chatter, back pedaling on a bike, and a slighter high pitch than the sound of the clicking when you light the gas stove.

There was a bike on a balcony, but it wasn't moving, and it obviously didn't switch sides of the building. I personally have never seen a squirrel after sundown. Have any of you? And then, of course, the odds of a stove being lit several times on the top floor of each side are slim, especially at midnight and when the lights are off in both of those apartments.

Do y'all have any ideas based on the description? It was actually quite creepy.

Gotta agree with squirrels or bats.
I also know there are bugs that do it too, I don't know what they are called.

No wind, and way too fast, IMO, to be a camera. The weirdest part was it only moved once. It was consistent the rest of the time. A neighbor walked up and we told her to listen, and then it stopped.

I don't know. It was weird.

You're probably right, Darrell.

Ian, that's pretty damn close, except it wasn't moving and the clicking was cleaner, which could be from not moving, maybe?
