I like the Marylin Monroe conspiracy...the one about her being murdered by the Kennedy's and that it wasn't a suicide.

actually the discovery channel or one like it did a show on the magic bullet theory. they proved it was possible. shocked the shit out of me.

I saw this as well and was (scuse the pun) blown away by it!

I buy into probability, not possibility :D

They actually replicated the experiment several times with very similar results...making it not only possible, but probable.

The shot to JFK's head had to have come from the front.
It's been clear from the beginning that the entry wound was in the back of the head and the bullet exited from the front. This shot was also in direct line with Oswald's position.

The bullet actually entered the back of his neck, and came out of his throat. If you watch the replication of it, the reason the entry wounds into Connelly's back was so large was because a bullet actually does start to go end over end once it encounters something to cause resistance...like a body. The recreation also showed that there was no shot from the front and explained why his body reacted the way that it did. In the recreation, they actually took all of their data from the experiment to a forensics expert and even he said he thought the wounds and evidence were conducive to two shooters...but there was only the one in the experiment. It's really fascinating...

AA...do you recall what the show was called? I think I watched it on the History Channel, but it was a Discovery production...it was really fascinating and basically did give you enough evidence that it was probably just one shooter.

you would think though that with all the telescopes , including the Hubbell that there would be pictures of the Eagle which should still be intact on the moon. never have seen one though

Actually the mirror on the hubble space telescope is only 8 foot, and at the distance between the hubble and the moon the highest resolution would make each pixel the size of a football field. They say you would need a mirror at least 2400 feet in diameter to see the footprints, or a mirror 9 miles across to see the tread marks in those foot prints. So even if they took the time and photographed the moons surface with the hubble, you wouldn't get enough resolution to see the landing site. No conspiracy concerning hubble and the moon landing.

I was not thinking there was a conspiracy with the hubbel. you would think though that there would at least be pics of the lunar lander.

The telescope just isn't powerful enough to get pictures of the lander.

I know nothing about telescopes. so the problem my logic side says how the hell can it get such pictures of things so far away and yet the closest thing to it can not get something as large as a lander on the moon.

not arguing. I just am not knowledgeable of the makings of a telescope.

45 years ago today JFK's motorcade turned into Elm Street and on to Dealy Plaza at a few minutes beofer 12.30pm CST, Friday 22nd November 1963 (I always wanted to be a newscaster).

Was this the moment that the age of post war western innocence, and more particularly, trust and faith in democratic governments being true, decent and honest began it's slow ebb?

Well, probably not.

But more to the point.....it sprang a host of conspiracy theories relating to the CIA, the Mafia, Oswald and Wookiegirl who has still not explained her whereabouts for the day.

So what's your favourite conspiracy theory? (that was a long way of asking)

Mine is the "Paul McCartney is dead" one.

Lovely

My favorite is how the Twin Towers were strategically wrapped with remote mines.

Also, they say the Pentagon was also bombed strategically, not crashed with a plane.

The theory that voting for president is pointless because the the candidates are chosen long before by some group of people working for the government.

Votes are just something to show we have "freedom".

Something I heard and found interesting.

Yeah that may be the king of conspiracies. Unbelievable. The idiots seem to have forgotten the part where huge airplanes loaded with fuel crashed into them. Not that it would have had an impact of course. That was just the diversion. :willy_nilly:

I should know about this. The twin towers were hit by planes and so was the Pentagon. Don't these people know that.

That's what the Government and Press said.

It isn't necessarily the truth.

They say that the twin towers collapsed, level by level. Past plane bombings have recorded a spastic collapse.

With the Pentagon, there were no left over plane parts. Past crashes and bombings have shown that the planes have not melted with the serious temperatures. Also, the entry had no resemblance to a "plane."

Nearby security cameras showed no signs of a plane. Just a instant combustion.

never has there been fully loaded planes that crashed into buildings like the twin towers. it has been proven the heat can fatigue steel. once one level collapses then that is all she wrote.

and you are wrong about no plane parts found at the Pentagon.

I watched the same (or a similar) production on Discovery Channel. They found that bone can deflect a bullet's trajectory significantly, which could also be the cause of the "magic bullet".

I have not bothered to look at the info on the sites but there seem to be several sites that think Discovery put out biased junk re the magic bullet theory and other stuff re: JFK

Oh I 've got so much to say.

I'm not even going to touch the Towers. People died. I don't believe a bunch of cavemen in Afghanistan executed this with such precision. I'm just sayin ;)

If you think that there aren't bigger powers at work as for our Presidential elections, then I would take a good look at Ron Paul's campaign......and google Bildeburger group.

I know there are those that think I have a vast tinfoil hat collection. You are entitled to think that and I'm entitled to think what I think.

Ok, I think that's all.

Don't judge me :D

Hijacking some planes with knives (they didn't even have guns) and flying them into some buildings is hardly the most sophisticated operation really, is it?

towers falling was icing on the cake

does not take a rocket scientist to fly a plane into a building.\

next i suppose the conspiracy nuts are gonna say the planes never crashed into the buildings

they were whisked away by aliens

The terrorists are actually quite sophisticated, and they don't live in caves. Well, a few of the highly-sought ones (like bin-laden) do, but most live, look, and act like normal civilians.

I heard they used Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 to train the hijackers how to fly the planes they were planning on hijacking.
