You have absolutely NO idea how chipper I am about this. It's not so much that the Als won...I really don't like them. BUT I live in SK and I'm a Bomber fan. I've been getting sick and tired of listening to all the Rider crap. The whole Rider Pride thing is just gay.

the Canadian Champ should play the super bowl champs (NFL)....then you'd have a North American Cup...and have it played in the worst weather (find the place that has snow forecast that day and not in some warm climate) and I would watch that.
That would probably end up being Calgary or Sask... it's usually the worst weather...
But which football rules would they use?

Yeah, there's that too. Completely different games. Oh, and Winnipeg and Edmonton can have pretty nasty weather too. :nod:

Very different games yes.. but lots of the CFL players are from NFL too...

The boys tonight were playing in Edmonton.. and it was around -10C at the end of the game...
That's true too.. but then again the American leagues are flooded with players trying to make it... there is less competition up here..
they can have either the heritage classic or the winter classic as the backdrop and play the game between periods...combine the two sports

Oh, did anyone see that Rider player (forget who) who broke his leg? Oh my word...that was painful to watch in slow motion. :willy_nilly:
the quarters would be reduced to 10 minutes and no tv timeouts...this could work!!!!
