Alright, no problem, haha.

I'm sure we'll disagree on whether some of these are good (no doubt, who has the same taste exactly???), but I'm really open on the different types of horror and the sub-genres of horror (suspense for example, or even thriller). But here's a good mixture of the many different types.

Some of them are good.

I dislike graphic violence. Too many so-called horror, action and science fiction movies are nothing more than excuses for senseless violence, gushing blood and dismembered body parts. I'm with Mase on this one, but I have to say that movies with implied horror and evil are the best. Classics such as Psycho, Legen of Hell House and The Exorcist.

Not a classic but to me it was just like that - implied horror - was The Blair Witch Project. There was no graphic violence. There was no horrific gore but holy shit that movie made me tinkle!!!:willy_nilly:

"I think Easy Rider is a pile of shite. what happens? A couple of hippies ride around doing fuck all and then get shot by Rednecks. What's the point exactly?"

Couldn't agree more. It was patronized by wannabe gangsters who couldn't get away from their wives apron strings.

Around the same era, Jack Nicholsons movie, The Last Detail was crapola.

Now, who thinks Dustin Hoffman can act? His problem is he's always TRYIN to act. Dressed up as woman and playing retards. he's not a natural actor. He lives in the shadow of Brad Pitt.

I notice nudity is really missing in modern movies these days, esp from hollywood. Violence is rife and gives us an understanding of the American mindset. You tube and Myspace censor nipples but mindless violence is condoned.

The world rolls its eyes.
