I think some of you are lacking historical perspective, not to say that you don't have the right to dislike a movie, you certainly do and you are entitled to your opinions. But I'd like to point out-
Easy Rider is considered

Citizen Kane is not really my kind of movie, but it has been called one of the greatest movies of it's time, mostly because of the innovations in film making that it employed. I was impressed with it's style, but I found the story to be oppressive. See the "innovations" section of this

The God Father is an incredible movie, impressive story telling and cinematography. It might have helped if you read the book first. On the
AFI (American Film Institue) all time great movie list, it comes in Number Two behind... Citizen Kane.
