It's kind alike letting them watch violence at a young age .. it seeds something in their mind that shouldn't be there yet.

If sex and young children mixed .. it wouldn't be against the law to engage in sexual activity with children. Letting young children see sexual acts desensitizes them to it and will eventually lead them into having it at younger ages .. same as with drinking and smoking.

It might not happen to every child, but it's just not a good idea.

I don't see how you can akin seeing someone being killed to seeing mommy and daddy going at it after a night cap. One is much more traumatizing.


I'm not sure what you mean by "If sex and young children mixed"? I'm not suggesting we sit them down in front of pornos here. I disagree that kids seeing sex makes them more sexual at a younger age as a general, overall statement. I'm SURE most kids see/ are exposed to some sort of sex when they are young at probably a more frequent rate, but I'm not so sure it makes them more of a sexual entity, they are just aware of what it is, which is good.

Sorry, I don't think my 11 yr old needs to be aware of sex at 10, 11, or 12. He'll learn plenty about it when he reaches puberty .. why introduce more adult situations to children than they already have thrown in their face?

Why not let them stay children as long as possible? Why disregard their innocence and shove sex in their faces? I don't see why you would WANT to do that, for any reason.

And, I've heard my parents having sex .. at 30 yrs old .. and I will prolly never get over it .. it was nasty and just completely weird.

Sex is a private act, between 2 consenting adults .. children just don't belong ANYWHERE in the scenario of ADULTS having sex. Sorry

Annnnndddd this has always gone on. Its not some new thing. My dad told me about a story where boys and girls would get caught fooling around in the convent that was connected to his catholic school (back in the 50's) allll the time. Its just that it gets more exposure now with the mass media.
