Anyway, I think either party receiving child support shouldn't receive cash payments because of typical spite between parents and the assurance that the benefits go towards something that directly benefits the child's needs.

Child support in the USA is a joke. If the dad has more than one child and he's with children those children get attention and the kids mother hes not with dont get shit. My mother got payments til I was 24... my "sperm donor" of a father would dodge payments and mom would sometimes only get 5 dollars a check.

I've seen a lot of men get fucked over by cs expetations, and I've seen a lot of women and children get fucked over by deadbeat dads. It's a shame, there's rarely any winning in broken families. These situations are too complicated to judge.

I'm not angry at anyone.. If your not willing to answer a simple but very pertinent question to the OP than why post it?

Fact is if babies and children are forced on Fathers it has a much greater effect on society and social programs and the domino effect. It's an extremely relevant question..

I think it's shit that child support and visitation are 2 separate issues. It's not right that a man how no recourse if he pays his child support and the mother still won't allow him to see the children.

For sure, that's sickening. I'm sure sometimes there's good reason for it, but I know it's a power play often.

i dont see how its relevant either; my thought was theyre sour at me because abortion is irrational in most cases so they were digging for reasons to start something.

I think what Francis may have been getting at is that some fathers don't want the baby of an unplanned pregnancy but the mother chooses to have it anyway. Did I interpret that right Francis???

As for child support goes: I think that if the father/mother is expected to pay child support, then they should have decent visitation rights or partial custody and proof that the child support is being spent on the children.

i think that too and it completely makes sense...it's not that way in Texas and it's so damn retarded. the judge half the time doesnt even want to hear the father's side unless it's a completely one sided circumstance

Wow...just wow. Actually I buy mine at Wal-mart and it works out to about 57 cents per condom. 12 pack for $6.92 including tax.
