It could have been anyone's win and I am glad Canada won especially after what I noticed during the medal presentation. Not one American player so much as smiled when they hung the Silver around their neck.... not one. That disgusts me.

How the heck do you smile after losing the gold medal????? In all the gold medal games I've seen in hockey I have never seen the silver medalists happy when receiving their medals.

oh give me a break... you just get through playing in a tournament that only happens once every 4 years, you tie the game up with 24 seconds left to send it to OT and then you lose. I doubt you'd be all smiles either in their situation. Yeah, the silver medal is cool, but they came up short, and they're probably beating themselves up over not winning.

Well many athletes I have seen getting their Silver or even Bronze medals smiled and wooted like the cows were coming home. They were damn happy with their results even though we all know they wanted the Gold. Bunch of spoiled brats those hockey players are I tell ya. Not just the Yanks but the whole lot of 'em.

I think Canada will be closed for next couple of months, probably re-open in June or sometime
Especially if Vancouver if it makes it past tonight. There's going to be a bunch of drunks walking around starting now.

I live 40 miles from Vancouver and came back from town a little while ago. The stores and streets were absolutely dead. Even the freeway was almost vacant and that never happens on a Sunday afternoon.

I gotta disagree with you. It has more to do with losing the biggest game of your life than being spoiled. Yes, other athletes are excited but in other sports you still win that silver/bronze. In team sports the silver medalists always lose their last game. That's tough.

I don't watch hockey.....
