You can't compare a homeless person to a nation. What if helping that homeless person costs 3000+ more American lives? It's not our job to help the Iranian people through the use of force.
 
Donnie, you are losing sight of the bigger picture here... we need to deal with Iran now, and these sanctions are pushing Iran just enough to force a confrontation... this must be done this year, do you honestly think that Iran will be properly dealt with with a Dem in office? Then Iran WILL have a nuke, then where will we be? In a shit load of trouble my friend.

Why not? Iran is a totalitarian regime, and its pretty much holding its own people hostige. If soldeirs have to give their lives to secure freedom for an entire people....well....I don't know of a better way to die.

Well, there's a Republican in office now, and look where that's gotten us. Us being over there in an unjust war is provoking them.

War doesn't decide who is right, only who is left. Don't know who said that, but he was right on. Why should we expect the children of America to throw away their lives for someone else's political agenda?

Well its a fact, the media hates our troops. Look at vietnam! Even today we hear nothing but negativity from them about our brave freedom fighters!

NO, progress is being made everyday... you just won't hear it in the news. Once the dust clears, you will see the true vision that this administration has had. You will see the legacy that he has left us.

That's my point, maybe there needs to be more talk and less action. Let's sit these guys down and be rational/civil with them. Then they'll see that we mean them no harm.
