Gotta say there are some pretty odd things with the reports

If I was that homeowner and I saw blood outside the boat and the tarp amiss there is no way in hell I just grab a ladder and look inside the boat. I would turn tail and run away as fast as I could and then call the police.

But some people are not the brightest and just are plain lucky

Then you have the police shooting at the boat a little later. And finally the suspect is supposedly so weak he eventually did not respond later on and they arrest him yet he is shown in pics climbing out of the boat.

Then they take him away in an ambulance that I would have expected to have a ton more security with it as it left,

And lastly since there was a standoff for a couple hours the feds let the local handle the apprehension it appears

I sure hope they had video on this because things are not adding up. I got a feeling there is a lot more going on than we are being led to believe.

But I am a skeptic at heart.

Just speculating, but I think we're going to see that the older kid was the mastermind and talked the younger kid into going along w/ it. I don't see him talking freely w/ the police anytime soon, but as I haven't watched the news gets today I could already be out of date.

I had read the older brother had become more of a devout Muslim in the recent past

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, was in Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center today. It is the same hospital where Tsarnaev's older brother Tamerlan, 26, was brought early Friday after a shootout with police. Tamerlan died of his wounds.

I missed it where it stated one brother ran over the other with a vehicle to get away.

Then again, the cops in pursuit could of accidently (or intentionally) ran over the 1st suspect taken and just said his brother ran him over.

I do get a chuckle out of the "Boston Strong" logo.

"PEOPLE, GO TO YOUR HOMES AND DO NOT COME OUT UNTIL IT'S SAFE!"

Then you have "EVERYONE, IT IS NOW SAFE TO COME OUT OF YOUR HOMES TO SHOW THE WORLD HOW STRONG YOU ARE!".

Ultimately, human psychology at work.

You wanted documentation he was alive when he was run over...now you want documentation he was run over?
What next joe...documentation of what he was run over with?
If you remember the exchanges began over people have the opinion one is a POS for running over his brother
You stated below

The guy ran over his dead brothers body. Big fricken deal.
You stated he ran over his brothers body...and now ask ask me to provide you with documentation? ..which would support your own post.
You are all over the place here Joe.......Me thinks you been reading some of those conspiracy sites....you may do good to read the new york post from time to time. :p

I only repeated what Tasha said (as far as one brother running over the other). Personally, I don't believe one brother ran the other over in a vehicle. You seem to missed where I stated "Personally, I give it a 50/50 chance that he ran over his brother. The law isn't immune from lying. By all accounts, the first suspect was alive when he hit the hospital and nothing was mentioned about "being run over" per ANY of his injuries."

I never saw a report that stated that the dead brother was run over.

I'm old enough not to believe everything I read.

Actually I don't really read conspiracy sites, just some info pasted elsewhere.

Now I remember the chickenshit who wouldn't admit if he did or didn't serve his country. I forgot that byline was for you.
President Barack Obama said there are many unanswered questions about the Boston bombings, including whether the two men had help from others. He urged people not to rush judgment about their motivations.

Dzhokhar and his brother, 26-year-old Tamerlan Tsarnaev, were identified by authorities and relatives as ethnic Chechens from southern Russia who had been in the U.S. for about a decade and were believed to be living in Cambridge, just outside Boston. Tamerlan Tsarnaev died early in the day of gunshot wounds and a possible blast injury. He was run over by his younger brother in a car as he lay wounded, according to investigators.

SWAT teams in armored vehicles swarmed the tense and locked-down streets of Boston and its suburbs Friday in an all-out hunt for the surviving Boston Marathon bombing suspect after his older brother died in a desperate getaway attempt. But as evening fell, police had come up empty-handed.

State Police Col. Timothy Alben said at a news conference that he believed 19-year-old college student Dzhokar Tsarnaev was still in Massachusetts because of his ties to the area. But authorities lifted the stay-indoors warning for people in the Boston area, and the transit system started running again by evening.

"We can't continue to lockdown an entire city or an entire state," Alben said. At the same time, he and other authorities warned that Tsarnaev is a killer and that people should be vigilant.

Tsarnaev fled on foot after a furious overnight gun battle that left 200 spent rounds behind and after a wild car chase in which he and his brother hurled explosives at police, authorities said. His brother, 26-year-old Tamerlan Tsarnaev, died in the shootout, run over by his younger brother in a car as he lay wounded, according to investigators.

Thats msn and huffingtonpost.

It doesnt matter joe what you figure the odds are that he ran over his brother.
You stated below

See joe that doesnt change the horribleness of the act just because you put 50/50 odds on it have happened.

Running over your wounded brother is a "big fricken deal to most"

What the heck Joe...you state below in a prior post

The guy ran over his dead brothers body. Big fricken deal.

The you emphasize a prior post of yours above with
By all accounts, the first suspect was alive when he hit the hospital

Additionally you are the only one disputing he wasnt run over...the major news sites are reporting such.
Is any source good enough info?

I made the comment about running over his brother per Tasha's comment (for the sake of agreeing with her). What don't you comprehend about that?

Apologies about the chickenshit comment. I forgot you were the one who was afraid to admit if they served or not of gave lame ass excuses as to why you couldn't answer that particular question. For some reason it's people like you who get my blood pressure up. I've come to the realization you aren't worth it. I could only imagine the blanket parties you would of been given lol

Whether I served or not did not matter as to the original discussion...just as whether I served or not doesnt pertain to this subject.

It appears as if we did the terrorists a favor...it is said he would have more than likely died shortly had he not been found

(CBS News) More details have emerged about the Friday night capture that brought the intensive manhunt for the Boston bombing suspects to an end. Suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, had been hiding in a boat in Watertown, Mass. Authorities responded to a call from a local man late Friday, after he observed that a tarp covering his boat had been disturbed and there was blood in the boat.

The FBI hostage rescue teams (HRT) planned and executed their operation to clear the boat by lobbing "flash-bangs" into it, which forced the young man to climb out, according to CBS News senior correspondent John Miller. Later the agents observed that Dzhokhar had been shot in the neck and in the leg.

Based on "the amount of blood" the homeowner saw in the boat, it is likely Dzhokhar was shot as long as 20 hours before being discovered, Miller said, referring to the battle earlier Thursday that led to the death of the other bombing suspect, Dzhokhar's 26-year-old brother, Tamerlan.

WATERTOWN, Mass. (AP) — Police say the Boston Marathon bombing suspects used their carjacking victim’s ATM card before a gunfight with authorities.

Watertown Police Chief Edward Deveau says the suspects also told the carjacking victim they bombed Monday’s race and killed a police officer.

A car chase and shootout ensued when a Watertown officer saw the two brothers in different cars and followed them.

The suspects exchanged gunfire with police, wounding a transit officer and tossing a bomb and two hand grenades.

Deveau says Tamerlan Tsarnaev (tsahr-NEYE'-ehv) ran out of ammunition and police tackled him, before Dzhokhar Tsarnaev (joh-KHAR’ tsahr-NEYE'-ehv) drove the carjacking victim’s Mercedes toward them.

Police dove out of the way and the Mercedes dragged the other suspect’s body down the block.

Police negotiated Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s surrender after a resident saw him in his boat hours later.

Ouch...being dragged down the block by an automobile.
Bad day for him for sure...not only did he run out of bullets ...and get tackled by the cops....Gets dragged down the block.
I have been curious as to how responsible the brother was for his death.

Good find:thumbup

details of their escapade are coming out (again sources need to be double/ triple checked) CNN actually had a camera crew some houses down from the house with the boat and were quickly found and told to disburse due to the entire area being a crime scene.

Sometimes you have to look elsewhere for accurate news or witness accounts then the mainstream media, a lot of their "breaking news tips" come from sites like liveleak, youtube and elsewhere. Its still up to each person to sort out the BS though. ;)

First Hand Witness to 1st bomber shootout, bombs, and death

Andrew Kitzenberg saw the pressure cooker, the grenades, and the 2 shooting right outside his window!

He saw the 2nd bomber run over his own brother and crash full speed (GTA style) into a line of cops cars, smashing the doors and getting away while leaving his brother to die like a coward. He gets away, and is later captured like a rat inside a bloody boat in a civilian back yard.

Thanks to amys busticket YT user who recorded this Eyewitness Account by Andrew Kitzenberg - Above the Watertown, MA Standoff Scene- 4/19/2012 RAW Interview
Video here. http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=07d_1366481572

Thermal Imaging Footage of Suspect #2 Inside Boat

Thermal imaging footage from a helicopter depicts a glowing white mass - Dzhokhar Tsarnaev hiding in a boat before he was detained by officers.

One section of the video was of a police vehicle using an extended robotic arm to remove a tarpaulin covering the vessel while others showed officers detonating incendiary devices on the boat.
