Well, I can't say I've looked over every post yet: just the first page. That's what happens when a person stumbles upon a thread with 10 pages. I said yes. Child services can keep taking away kids from unfit parents, but after a while it's time to make them have surgery to prevent the problem from repeating over and over. Sure, they have rights, but so do the children that they may someday have and abuse/neglect.
If they can't take care of them selves they can't take care of children. So watching for the repeat drug offenders and stuff would work if you ask me. If someone is constantly in jail or in the hospital for over dosing and crap they should not have children until they stop going to jail, IMO
Even if this law would pass it isn't enforcable. Unfit morons are going to fuck until they have an accidental child.

well you could always move to another country...I hear China's government is pretty lax regarding birth control.
LMAO!!! Come on now, they ARE allowing families that lost children in the recent natural disasters to "replace them" by having another child.

I think we should use this Keep life simple with Mirena® IUC contraception, long term birth control that keeps your options open on unfit parents. It lasts up to 5 years and if they appeal or finish their time early they can take it out early too. I think it's a good idea.
