In response to you and retro - I know that was the case, but I don't think that's how the average American saw it.

Which can be still seen in how most Americans view Muslims and basically any other person from the Middle East.


But I do agree with what I bolded. I can see that.

I would think those with a loved one killed in the attack would be a bit more informed than the average citizen, just for interest's sake alone and they know, better than anyone, who was behind the attacks and hopefully feel a sense of relief that he is dead.

I won't deny there was a lot of line blurring regarding Iraq :ninja sometimes I think the government loves to keep the US public looking stupid more than anything lol.

I am relieved that we found UBL. I'm relieved that he is gone. I think the world is a much better place without him in it. However, I think it will be a long time before the world is safer because of it. I'm unbelievably grateful for the sacrifices and achievements our military and the military of the countries that have supported us have made in the battle against terrorism.
