WOW.... a little joke with a LOT of truth gets everyones knickers in a twist....if Im not mistaken OUR boys have been fighting RIGHT ALONG SIDE OF YOURS the whole time.

I did NOT disrespect anyone....yet got it back in spades.:thumbdown

First off, I didn't disrespect anybody. I simply said that I found the comment offensive. I didn't attack you or your daughters...I disagreed w/ the COMMENT. To put it in perspective, it would be like me saying that with so much water around Australia you would think your firefighters would've had an easier time fighting the wildfires in 2009 and nearly 200 people wouldn't have died.

Now if they had said they killed Osama and found 9 trillion dollars sitting next to him, THAT would make me happy.

Welcome to America...where money is more important than the lives of 3000 people killed in terrorist attacks that were masterminded by Osama Bin Laden!!! LOL

Foul!...who says you ref your own game.;)

It implies what you want it too...all the quote does is tell it how it is/was. ;)...but hey, if you take it that way, thats your prerogative.

Slam dunk...hits the showers.

If you take it as a straight comment, then yes... it states truth. But the implication behind what was said is far different, and that's obvious to anyone that read it.

All I've said is that your daughter's comment could be construed as offensive, and detailed why that is. You're the one that was incredulous that someone could be upset over it. Nobody disrespected you or your daughter, merely the comment.

Match ending PK.

Time to go home everyone. ;)

No, it is ridiculous in that it implies that the United states was inefficient in tracking down bin Laden. It implies that money was wasted and that it shouldn't have cost as much or taken as long as it did.

wait,......im sorry, im not trying to get you stirred up retro, i love my country...but it is inefficient and wasteful...okay, maybe i should reserve that for politicians and bureaucrats.
we can all speculate about what should or shouldn't/could or could not have been done, ..if our troops would have had proper armor the entire time..that may have sped things along with fewer casualties...possibly. if all of the intelligence agency cooperated fully and disclosed the information to one another in a timely manner could it have been done faster...maybe.

Well. on behalf of my "simple daughters" I apologise for a disrespectful joke that has NO truth whatsoever in it.:)

and "for the record" I never said you personally "attacked" my girls Tash....I said it was funny how someone else could attack them and as per usual, not a whisper.

and the firefighting analogy? I dont know how you compare a natural disaster with an invasion...but..

Im outta here.:surrender

for the record:

A)there is nothing simple about cammie or her daughters
( they live in the outback, ride kangaroos, hunt great white sharks with boomerangs, drink fosters all day, wrestle Tasmanian devils, go to war with other tribes over something called vegimite and cook shrimp on the bar-b in there spare time, not to mention they are all giants....how in the world is that simple?)

luv ya cammie ;)

i'd hang his body upside down by the ankles for all to see

I have no doubts that the burial at sea had an ulterior motive, but by treating the body with respect, America has shown a tolerable and even-handed side, sensitive to a foreign culture; this is what dispels extremism.

Truth.

Ummm both?

The soldiers would have just been standing around with their dicks in their hands without orders. And the president would be standing around with his dick in his hand if he didn't have the soldiers to carry out his orders...
There is much to be said for standing around with one's dick in one's hand. It's a favorite pastime of teenagers around the world. :D

Once again U.S. meddling overseas bites us in the A$$. Too often we ally ourselves with leaders who eventually become our enemies. Too many examples to name. We helped bin Laden when he was fighting the Russians. Those bunkers turned out to be as hard for us to get into as it was for Russia.

All this talk of the burial at sea... I can tell you exactly how it went down.
The Navy seals collected the corpse got in their helicopters and flew back to their ship. On the way back, at 30,000 feet, they opened the side door and gave his body the boot. :24:

The image of that is priceless. :D

I didn't hear about it until this morning, and couldn't believe it when I did!
In a lot of ways, his death doesn't change anything, there are plenty of his followers left, but it's a good thing nonetheless.
I do worry about possible retaliations.
