Atheism is for cowards

Yes you do have certain freedoms when it comes to speech... But there are limits as to how far you will be allowed to go here. Pissing off enough members here WILL get you banned from the site. Yes, as you have stated earlier, there are ways around IP banning. But I can assure you that all the time you will spend getting new e-mail addresses to sign up with so we can ban you again with one click will not be worth your time.
So relax a bit and debate your topic. I know that I look forward to debating your very weak arguement when I get out of work. This is a topic in which I have many things to say, and I will share them later.

oh I don't worry about ever getting banned for two reasons: one, I just don't care, two - I have at least a dozen alternate emails I can use if I feel like it.
I eagerly wait having a real discussion with you.

Personally I'm not an atheist but am agnostic. I believe in God but don't agree with organised religion. I respect other peoples beliefs though as long as they respect mine and don't try to blow me up because they think I'm an infidel or a pagan. See, this is the thing about organised religion, it seems to make a lot of people lose the plot and try to harm others who don't agree with them. Whats that all about? Surely one of the fundamental teachings of Jesus was to love your neighbour! Thats just my opinion though and I respect anyone who disagrees with me as long as they don't resort to childish name calling!

I agree with a lot of what you said, specifically about believing in God but disagreeing with organised religion. I am an unorganised religious man myself. I however, find no such reason to respect my fellow man. Well, thats not entirely true, I do hold respect for anyone who can think logically on their own.

This is where you are wrong. You are the only one that will be held responsible.
So relax a bit before you are removed from this "almost entertaining" site and you have to pay attention in your "boring" class.

Eh, right. by saying "I can't be held responsible" what I really meant was "I don't hold myself responsible and any action anyone else attempts to make against me is utterly pointless."

clarity ftw!

Cute, but I'm not that easily entertained. I was interested when this was a topic of psuedo-intelligence. Now it's succumbed to posting insult after insult to top off that insult. It's really quite sad, and I don't have to deal with it.

Balderdash! This thread has never been about pseudo-intellect. My intellect is the real deal...well....sometimes, not when I make dumbass threads like this one...wait...
damnit...

ok, so I guess what I'm saying is that this thread's only purpose is to start an argument, even if I am arguing for something I don't agree with.

i just like to argue.

" The biggest cause af atheism in today's society Is christians, Who honor God with thier words, and Deny him by their Lifestyles"

Simply put, Atheism is a choice most often made, Not because they find fault in Religion, Not because they didn't get what they wanted, But because society has never proven a reason for them to believe.

Atheism, like all religions, Is a choice.

If anything, wouldn't Atheists be stronger people, because they deny the comfort that organized religion offers?

Religion can be a sore point for me, but I do feel that it is harder to live without any belief. It is a conscious acceptance of the fact that there is no divine reward for living your life in a certain way, and (perhaps comfortingly in my case) no unending punishment for living your life in another.

There are many people of all religions who are beautiful and wonderful people, who have wonderful hearts and are accepting of differing opinions. Sadly, there are also many who are not.

If it matters, I consider myself agnostic. I believe that there could be a God or a higher power or whatever, but throughout my life, I have failed to see any proof of this, and this "Loving God" that people talk about has failed to exercise an active hand in my life.
I don't know, in the end. How can you?

I'm not a huge fan of Atheism myself, because it seems all most atheists I've met want to do is bash Christians, and I don't really like it when ANYONE bashes anyone else. Regardless of religion, sex, nationallity, sexual preference, etc...I think we should all just get along. If Christians want to live their lives not according to how they say they should...LET THEM! Who are we to judge? If Atheists wanna be atheists...let them also.

PLUR! lol...ok I won't rehash the old raver proverb, but it means Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect. Everyone should live this way.

I don't think Atheists are stronger for not having the "comfort of religion". I don't think they're weaker either. You could say that Atheists are stronger because they don't rely on the comfort of religion, but on the same note you could say Atheists are weaker because they can't handle having to deal with a stricter moral code and don't want to worry about hell so they just deny it. It goes both ways really.
I am similar to you, I suppose, except I'm not agnostic. I do believe that God exists simply because that is what I see as most logical. though I don't follow organised religion.
