Bit bored and anyway, thought I'd ask this. Ask me anything at all about Politics, Philosophy and Religion and I will answer you with my personal honestly. If I have no idea what you are on about, I will look into the matter and then give you my answer or if I really dont give a shit, I will tell you that and why. Fair enough? Go.

If the pursuit of the absurd is absurd, why do people go nuts for exestentionalism??

Because the most USA citizens voted for the Democrat candidate.

Thanks for an easy one to start this off with.;)
Can you explain then why in the last presidential race a Republican won when clearly the Democrat had the most votes by USA citizens?

Absurd things do happen occasionally and if no one went looking into them we would live in a more stable but less truthful world. Progess is only made when some one proves the absurd, for that they are geniouses, if they fail they are seen as nut jobs.

No voting is infailable, what came about can happen when one party wins by a huge margin in a few areas but narrowly loses in lots. I know what you are getting at but that is still open to debate and without hard proof, I'll be diplomatic and not comment on it.;)

Are you running for something? I'll vote for you for sure. :D

.... of course, you'd have to move to the USA in order for my vote to count. How's next March? Do you prefer a warm climate or a cold climate? I'm adaptable. ;)

I'm not running for anything unless someone gives me a good reason to and I can be arsed.:D

Unfortunately I will still be banned from the USA next March by your government laws, I may endanger national security apparently and Scotland Yard have been sharing files with your national security so it really isn't worth my while running the risk but more importantly, the cost of getting smuggled into your fine country, sorry.:(

I like all climates that are extreme, be it really hot or really cold or really windy, I like proper English seasons (when we get them) except for spring.

Well..... apparently I'll have to come to your country.

Although..... I am wanted in several states and a few countries myself. Oh! Wait! That's because... ummm.... never mind... *blush*

Have you heard the Pogues translation of Apollionaire's " Le Pont Mirabeau"

I think it is one of the best translations ever, and on top of that a great song.
