It was a day like no other. The sky was bright, the sun shone in my eyes at every chance. I hit all green lights on the way home. (All four of them!) Wasn't a slow poke in front of me the whole way home. (I passed their asses like they were standing still!) The stereo sounded totally rockin' and loud as I can set it.... vibrating the rear view mirror making me think I was shaking every time I looked at it.... not once as I never care where I've been... only where I'm going. I discovered the car had brakes upon entering my driveway, spitting gravel everywhere as I slid into my parking spot.
The dog greeted me with wet sloppy kisses making my world normal once again. Nothing like true undying unquestionable love from a dog to make you feel like a goddess.

I do know that I've got to be more patient and slow it down.
I've taken a few chances that resulted in some close calls over the years and you would think I'd learn from them. I mean... I think about it... but I'm a Type A Personality -- I think!
I never drive the way I drive with anyone in the car with me. Never!
And mostly I'm on the freeway or on highways with very few other drivers around.
But I am reminded that one vehicle collisions happen all the time. Read it in the papers everywhere.
I'd like to think I know my car well enough along with my driving skills to keep me safe. :dunno

Yes.... I talk to RedRyder all the time. Conversations go something like this:
RedRyder: Look how slow that dumbass is going.
Me: You don't have to be anywhere at a particular time so just slow down.
RedRyder: Bullshit. It's the point.

RedRyder: I can go faster than them. Much faster.
Me: It's a cop car.
RedRyder: Exactly. What are they gonna do? Long as I don't exceed the speed limit.
Me: It's 55. The cop is doing 63. You're on his ass.
