Because it isn't necessarily the best source of energy out there; solar panels are very expensive (though the price is coming down), and it wouldn't particularly help areas that don't have a lot of sunlight.

Do aliens (as in not from this planet) exist, and if so, are they visiting us?

What? ISS? It's going to continue operation until at least 2015, so sometime after that.

It's not possible at the moment. The closest star except the sun is Proxima Centauri which is over 4 light years away, and witch todays technology it would take hundreds of years to reach it.
