May as well start up my personal question/advice column. I've got time on my hands today...
Do you mean an LPN? Licensed Practitioning Nurse? Yes, I've considered it. My sister is in school for that very same position.
it would seem so....bastid!!!!apparently the sick bastard with all the time on his hands went back to bed he seems to be MIA lol

No, I mean Licensed Vocational Nurse.
Juz FYI guys: LPN and LVN are the same. Just called differently by different people and institutions
( LPN: Licensed Practical Nurse )
I am a care provider type of person. I didn't realize this until recently. Everything I've endured through life and the personality I was born with point to the direction of care provider. I LOVE the job. It's the most important work I've done in my life and I've worked since before I was a teenager (now, I'm in my 30s). Would I rule out Psychological tech? No. I nearly have enough college credit hours to minor in Psych anyway!
CNAs mostly start a bit higher than minimum from what I've seen around. Just a suggestion of course![]()
Thanks. I verified through Google before you answered because I was curious as to what the heck an LVN was. It's still a possibility for me to pursue. My stepmom was an RN and, like I said earlier, my sister is going to school to become an LPN/LVN. I'm kicking the idea around. At least, I was until PurpleDove kindly opened my eyes to something I've never looked into, so now my direction is uncertain, but hey, this PurpleDove is something else! I've got newfound worlds of respect for her for enlightening me! :thumbupJuz FYI guys: LPN and LVN are the same. Just called differently by different people and institutions

My buddy was a CNA before he became an LVN, he went from making $10.50 an hour as a CNA to about $21 an hour as an LVN.
