I opted to go with poverty and education and how children who live in lower income areas are not only at a disadvantage because their schools are not as funded, but also, children who live in low income families tend to miss a lot of school, drop out early, or be pulled out to help make money for the family. And how their lower education standards keep them at a disadvantage as far as getting a better paying job. Vicious cycle and all that.

Thanks. I figured it was a safe topic that wouldn't stir up trouble, and would also allow me to do a good speech without having to start from scratch, since I learned a lot in my intro to education class last year.

No doubt! When I took public speaking it was a summer class so it was five weeks long. We did five speeches I think.

Mine's a half semester class, and strangely enough we're only doing the two. The informative speech about an international city, and the persuasive speech. And then we're done.

I got 100% on my first lab exam. I am now a straight A student.

I am doing good. Cleaned the heck out of my apartment this morning, am almost done with my homework for the week, and had a yummy lunch. I wish everyday could be like today.

Children...lol. I don't know why I bothered working so hard to clean. Abigail will come home and wreck it in half the time...lol

I know takes us 2 hours to clean.. takes them 20 min to destroy a whole house.. LOL

They make tablets for children.

While it's a little ridiculous, it's also really cool. You can get all kinds of apps that will help your kid learn to read and do math and stuff all the way up until they're like 9 or 10 years old.
