The biggest problem would be the fact that the only alcohol is being served is the kind that has rum in it. I'm not a big rum drinker...unless it's passion fruit. Plus...someone will have to drive home. And I don't know. Troy told me I'm being a party pooper if I don't drink. I don't think I'm unfun to be around if I'm sober...

LOL.. I do the one drink and keep adding mix when it gets down a bit.. others think it's a drink but it's just the same one all night long.. .LOL..

I am excited. We are taking Abigail to see her first movie in the theatre on Thursday. The Lion King is running for the next two weeks, and I figured it was perfect. She's excited. She keeps pointing out the commercial every time it comes on TV.

I take Liam to the movies all the time.. cuz if the are under 3 they are free here.

Oh, nice. I haven't been sure on her attention span up to this point. And I didn't know how she'd handle the noise, but she seems genuinely excited. I had wanted to take her to see Winnie the Pooh, but we missed it. Puss in Boots comes out soon, too. So depending on how she handles this one, there may be more in my future.

I'm looking at it as a good excuse to watch kid's movies and not get made fun of.

Hehe I know the feeling.. Liam will watch movies no matter what one.. He loved Harry Potter's second last one.. he loved when that huge ass snake comes flying at the screen. I nearly peed my pants and he just laughs.

I take him to kids ones too....

I am thinking of going to see something on Wednesday I just don't know what one yet.

Abbey absolutely adored the movie and I absolutely adored taking her. She ooh'ed at the opening scene in a silent theatre, which gained her several laughs, she sat very still, drank 80% of my icee, ate half the popcorn, and clapped and cheered when the movie was over. Hands down the best choice I could have made for her. She loves animals, and was pointing out all the giraffes, elephants, lions, birds, zebras to me along with their babies.

It was awesome, and I can't wait for the next time we get to do it.

I am now currently on the edge of my seat in regards to my biology test today. I got a 90% on my developmental psych test on Monday, a 94% on my abnormal psych test yesterday, and feel as though I did pretty well on my anatomy test today. We'll see, though.

I also signed up for a gym membership today and can't wait to start going. Gonna go tomorrow after I get out of school.

I'm perusing IKEA's website for a couch and possibly a new bed frame. My bed frame is made of a bunch of wood pieces that just slide into place together, so the whole thing moves and squeaks every time I get into bed or toss and turn at night. Which is obnoxious. Especially last night..had a bad dream.

ANYWAY...that was my day. I've had a fun week this week since Troy's been off work since he got done on Saturday afternoon and I'm sad to have to give him back to his company on Friday, but it'll give me time to work on homework.


Mental note: call and schedule a damn appointment to get my air fixed. At least two more weeks of 100*+ temperatures and I'm going to kill myself if I have to continue to drive my non-air conditioned car.

Thanks, Melissa! I'm glad, too. I was definitely concerned that it would be too loud for her, but she just loved every bit of it. And it took me back to being a kid, which was awesome for me. Like I posted on Facebook, I really forgot how much I loved that movie.

That's awesome. I remember seeing that movie in the theatre when I was young too and I was in awe.. I am trying to figure out of Liam would like to see it.

It could be that we're vastly different from them and they'd like to study how we evolved or were created in the manner we appear. Maybe they're just slightly ahead of us (as in 100-200 years) technologically and they're just exploring... or maybe they're way ahead of us and view and study us the way we do chimps. :24:
