Attempted to do a running interval today to start my couch-to-5k training.

I got through 15 of the 40 minutes. :24:

Didn't help the fact that I failed and switched the running/walking times.

My asthma is such an impediment to my desire to work out. I can't run on the treadmill for more than two minutes without being completely out of breath (and yes, I know that's partially due to being out of shape, but I've had asthma for 11 or 12 years now. I know it's slowing me down.) I can't use the elliptical to any benefit because it makes me out of breath. The bike is all I have, and really...it's not that great of a calorie burner.

It doesn't really help matters that I'm here all alone 90% of the time. And I have no self control. I said 7 days ago that I was giving up soda...I still haven't.

I want to get healthy. And I'm trying. But I've only lost 4 lbs, I missed three days of going to the gym. In a row. I'm lonely, and it's hard to get motivated with depression. Plus, my sleeping habits have been shittier than shit for the last week. I've barely slept, making it even harder to go to the gym.

I just want to see results.

BTW:

Couch to 5k for those who are wondering what it might be.

http://www.c25k.com/c25k_treadmill.html

Concept is the same as without the treadmill, except without the treadmill, there's no 5 minute cooldown walk at the end.

I hate the asthma thing, because I don't even have insurance, so it's not like I can just go to the doctor and get a script for some inhalers.

I'm still having weird breathing things 8 hours after I worked out. :/

BLAH.

Fucking fatass.

:(

ON ANOTHER NOTE!

I move in 10 days. I can't wait to not be on the third floor anymore. I can't wait to have a patio, and a new place to start fresh.

Troy's interviewing for another promotion tonight. Right after they told him he'd be moving back to first shift soon. And I'm sure it'll be a promotion into yet another third shift position. And I fucking hate this shit. I'm here by myself all the time. I hardly have friends, certainly none I can call and hang out with.

I'm a year away from my pointless degree and I feel like quitting and getting a full time job.

I hate this city.
I want a fresh start.
But I'll never get one.

Ana if thats you in your sig you dont look heavy girl, you shouldnt be so hard on yourself about the exercise thing. Do what you can that doesnt harm your health or youre being counter productive. :)

That's my goal. That's what I was at the summer after I had my daughter. ~150. If I can reach that point, I'll be happy, though I'd like to lose another 15-20 after that. Thanks :)

Haven't been able to really work out the last few days. My right knee has been KILLING me. Super bad joint pain. But, I think I'll be able to overcome it tomorrow. I feel a little lazy, just the same. Though, I have lost 5 pounds (duh...sig..lol)

I'm really excited. We're moving into a new apartment on Saturday. I love my apartment right now, it's really laid out nicely, it feels like a house. Except for being on the third floor, and the fact that the rent is going through the roof, and the fact that our downstairs neighbors get angry at even the slightest sound. Our new place has an extra bedroom, and it's on the first floor.

I'm making an extra to-do list for this week. I'm hoping writing it down enough times will keep me accountable.

-cancel service with cox.
-call qwest and possibly directv to get service set up
-transfer renter's insurance
-rent uhaul truck
-get appointment at animal hospital to get the stupid cat fixed and vaccinated

Hmm. I can't think of anything else at the moment.

Good luck withe the move and getting all the things done you need sweetie!

thank you. :D the problem is getting most of that stuff taken care of is on Troy's shoulders, not mine. So all I can do is harp on him and hope he listens.

Which he usually doesn't. ;) lol

I am sure there will be bumps but in the end it will work out properly.

Fortunately, the important part - the electricity - was in my name, and has been taken care of for about a week. The insurance is the only other necessity, as I think I could live without the internet for a few days..somehow. :p

Well I am glad you seem to have it under control.
