Michigan looked like their old selves finally. The word is Robinson likely will end up as the full time QB by seasons end but I think Forcier will be the better of the two. He is not as fast running but he has great vision and still has some nifty moves.

I also liked the fact MI tackled a lot better than last year.

Yes Forcier does look to be for real. His poise is amazing for a true freshman. I still do not know if Michigan is this good or if ND is still lousy. ND has some offensive weapons but I think their coach is lousy as far as being a head coach. Weis may be an offensive guru but that team shot itself in the foot with stupid penalties. They should have won by at least 10 points.

MI though was without Hemmingway who may be their best reciever and Minor is still not 100%

They need a better defense though. Except for the 3rd quarter ND was toying with them.

He is listed as 6'1" and 180 lbs

Actually I think he will be ok. He is elusive enough they don't seem to get a lot of big hits on him. Since he is not a pro style pocket QB he is almost always on the move.

If they are gonna play Shoelace at times then he better throw some. If all they do is run when Robinson comes in the defences will stack the line. They need that guy to get touches though. He is the fastest QB in the country.
