This isn't actually a conspiracy theory thread at all, this is simply about the massive over-exaggeration of the supposed threat from "Al Qaeda"
What surprises me, and thoroughly annoys me about this is that you consider yourself experts enough to throw childish "it's a conspiracy" insults at something, claiming to know 100% the truth, yet how many of you have ACTUALLY looked into all this? How many have watched the documentaries posted? How many of you have bothered to look any deeper than the most untrustworthy of sources, ie, the mainstream media?
The information on this particular topic doesn't even require much research at all, the information is pretty damn obvious. Just ask yourself a couple of basic questions and that should be enough to see past the propaganda.
For example, was this found?
No, because it didn't exist.
Why have there been no Al Qaeda cells/operatives prosecuted?
Why have all of the supposed cells that were caught turned out to be nothing of the sort?
These are some basic questions. Clearly the mainstream media propaganda model has you all sucked in staggeringly well. It's actually quite frightening. And not to mention embarrassingly gullible.
You should all watch the documentaries posted. I strongly recommend the award winning "the power of nightmares" which gives a full history of not only the Al Qaeda myth, but the basis of it's need within Neo conservative philosophy, based on the teachings of Leo Strauss. Who, you ask? Until you learn about the background to this, you're opening admitting that you are being willfully ignorant.
Firstly America came up with the hoax of Al Quaida,,,having killed Osama it was thought that Al Quaida was over,,,but no. There is NO such thing as Al Quaida...it never was. There were Taliban and they are still there,,,,expanding like Huns! America's war on terror has badly failed and now America has got subjugated to bow before the Talibs and this is proved by America trading off one American soldier with the release of 5 Taliban from Gitmo!
What does all this mean? Clearly it means America has lost control over the Taliban
and is now down to negotiationg peace with them. Couldn't this have been done before and without plunging this region and the whole world at peril through warring tactics and effecting bad results?
