It doesn't work with copy and paste. Please point me in... fuck it. I'll find my own but thanks anyway.
Ya I figured that. Stupid smiley rules. I kinda like mine as well though cuz it's in German. I hope he doesn't think I'm a Nazi lover because of it though.Oh I HATE it when that happens. The way I got it originally was to copy & save it to my hard drive, then attach it to the post.
Obama told the UN general assembly yesterday that America will no longer play supercop.
Yet, we won't stop signing those billions and billions in defense checks....
We decided long ago that we don't want to pay the price for war in excessive blood. That means military second to none in terms of quality of troops, training and equipment. Quality troops, training and equipment costs lost of $$$ especially in any significant numbers...
Nova, I was referring to the multi-billion dollar checks we send to our friends overseas.
While our Veterans sleep on our streets here at home.
As for our own Troops, I will not start a rant here about how this past administration treated our Troops as expendable items for their own personal gain.

Are you talking about foreign military aid? If not I'm confused by what you mean :dunno:
While you are at it make sure you mention the schools they are building over there while the ones back home are falling apart, understaffed, not enough equipment etc, etc. I'm thinking our citizens should be reminded of that stuff once in a while.
Yes I was referring to the billions of dollars we send to other nations every year for their defense. When those nation have their own nuclear weapons and can take care of themselves, it seems rather wasteful to me.
As I said above, especially when our Veterans are sleeping in the streets, being denied health care, etc.
Clear?
.In the meantime it was important to remind the brass who was in charge. Inside the National Security Council, advisers considered what happened next historic, a presidential dressing-down unlike any in the United States in more than half a century. In the first week of October, Gates and Mullen were summoned to the Oval Office, where the president told them that he was “exceedingly unhappy” with the Pentagon’s conduct. He said the leaks and positioning in advance of a decision were “disrespectful of the process” and “damaging to the men and women in uniform and to the country.” In a cold fury Obama said he wanted to know “here and now” if the Pentagon would be on board with any presidential decision and could faithfully implement it.
“This was a cold and bracing meeting,” said an official in the room. Lyndon Johnson had never talked to Gen. William Westmoreland that way, or George H.W. Bush to Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf. Presidents Kennedy, Carter, and Clinton had all been played by the Pentagon at various points but hadn’t fought back as directly. Now Obama was sending an unmistakable message: don’t toy with me. Just because he was young, new, a Democrat, and had never been in uniform didn’t mean he was going to get backed into a corner.
Mullen described himself as “chagrined” after the meeting. He had always felt strongly about the importance of civilian control of the military, and in 2008 had delivered a message to the armed forces reminding all service personnel to stay out of politics. Now he and Gates pledged support and told the president that the conduct would change, and it did. On Oct. 5, Gates said in a speech to the Association of the United States Army that it was “imperative” that generals provide their advice “candidly but privately.” (He felt the White House was just as guilty of damaging leaks as the Pentagon, and he hoped his message of discretion was heard there, too.) Mullen and Joint Chiefs vice chairman Gen. James Cartwright stopped selling the McChrystal plan and told Petraeus and McChrystal to stop talking publicly until the policy deliberations were resolved. “They swore loyalty,” said one senior civilian official. “And we chose to believe them.”
Yeh, some folks inherit star spangled eyes,
ooh, they send you down to war, Lord,
And when you ask them, how much should we give,
oh, they only answer, more, more, more, yoh,
What liberal crap site did you get that from?
Cause I aint buying it.
Oh I believe the part about Obama being pissed off. Narcissists like to think everything revolve around them and make it know time and again.
I don't buy the rest of the crap where the prior presidents were wimps to the pentagon
