Yeah I didn't read most of that, I was just wondering why you'd throw that out there. What some of them are suggesting is that Nancy wasn't in an accident, etc. Nobody wants money, and knowing nancy the way I do, she doesn't want people to buy her anything, even cards or flowers.

OK right, will try to re-word what I said so that it makes a bit more sense, of what I was actually getting at...

I was meaning that as ppl are calling this whole scenario BS, it may be cos they suspected that attempts for someone to gain out of this, could be the reason - I meant absolutely nothing more. The reason I wondered this, is because they are the kind of things I have heard ppl over the years suggest, when similar things have occurred.

I don't suspect ppl are actually getting at that, just that as there hasn't been a great deal of communication, it's difficult to know what is what.

However, I still say it is not BS personally and have been surprised that some think a thing this serious, is BS, but each to their own way of thinking I suppose, but it just has to be remembered that way every other time other ppl have their opinions too.

Then again, if it turns out it was, then fine - what's going to happen then? It really isn't a problem and I just ignore it if it turns out that way.

I don't know the exact reason *why* I think it's BS, I just know that there are a lot of red flags and a lot of things that don't make sense. For instance...why wouldn't some of the people here that are so close to her have gotten a phone call from her by now??? Now we can all say that her cellphone was probably destroyed in the wreck...but surely someone has visited her in the hospital that has a cellphone. And no, it's no longer against hospital rules to use your cellphone inside. And how is someone that is not her legal guardian or a relative handling her insurance stuff for her??? Remember guys, HIPAA.

So yes...I am inclined to not believe it. Doesn't necessarily mean that I think Breath is a part of the deception and I'd like to make that clear here. I'm just saying that a lot of this doesn't add up.

If I'm wrong, then I will apologize to Marc once Breath comes back and confirms it. I'm woman enough to own up to my mistakes.

I think given the circumstances, a person who has gone through that, would be very un-nerved and in a heck of lot of pain, you are not going to want to talk to a number of ppl, after a crash that has done damage. I couldn't when a bus crashed that I was on and I was injured, I could hardly move or sit up, for over 2 months, let alone push myself to worry about making a load of phone calls to ppl at that time.

So, the other thing mentioned re a friend sorting out her insurance - well, that can be done on the internet also, so she probably asked him to do that for her - and the reason she has spoken to him and no-one else - there is a long history by the look of things, so she needed someone she could trust, to look after that side of things for her - she can't do it, she is a bit injured right now. His was probably the name she asked the hospital to get intouch with.

She is probably using a hospital payphone to call him too, to sort out some things, or he could be phoning the hospital to ask if she needs anything done.

(this isn't aimed at you personally Natasha, btw, not at all), just at anyone in general here who thinks it strange).

I know that friends do sort out things like that especially when there has not been much of a family thing for someone, so that's quite normal imo.

Natasha, it'd be wise to ask questions first before calling BS on things like this. I canNOT tell you why things are the way they are right now because of her wishes, but just know that some of the things you've mentioned are due to your lack of knowledge on her.

The distance between KC and St Louis is 250-300 miles, its too much of a trek for Marc to just go see her in the hospital as of right now.



Speculating foul play isn't really the route I'd have taken. No mention was made of it.

As what I have said above, speculating was furthest from my mind, as you will have seen from my other posts by now - I was saying is that what others are thinking who think this is BS, is that their reasoning behind all this?

I should have re-worded it a bit differently - it's just a slight difference in how we say things here, as opposed to others on the board. I also do go around the houses a bit to explain things, cos I do do detail, but that's not a fault, just the way it is.

I thought it would have been better for ppl to wait and see when Breath comes back here, (if she does), before saying it's BS or not.

Perhaps if and when you feel like it you can tell us about your experience. That would be a good start.

We were of course naturally concerned when we got the news. It was quite sudden and unexpected. Additionally, because there was a lack of communication...contact info and whatnot, to follow up on what happened we were at a loss.

It's good to see you back tho and I wish you a speedy recovery. But yes, you must have something to say about the experience I would imagine.
