i saw a documentary about the towers a while ago.........they were designed to collapse in on themselves......but i must add that they'd still be standing now if the fire proofing in the central core had been adequate

It was adequate for what was considered normal office fires at the time in 1974. No plane had ever flown into a tower before. No one could have foreseen what would have happened had a plane flown into the side of the building at 570 mph.

Do you know who the guy is who WROTE the article for Popular Mechanics magazine? Did you look at his credentials? He's not an engineer or a physics guy. His qualifications for writing the article was that he was an editor for Entertainment Weekly.

Ok. Well I'm really not trying to change your mind. We still have the freedom to think what we want.

I didn't post to start a heated debate or anything. I just think that there are many many people out there who follow main stream media and do absolutely no research of their own.

I don't believe everything CNN, MSNBC, FOX news, etc. tells me. Nor do I think if you don't buy the government line on this does that make you a tin foil wearing asshole. Nor do I believe everything Alex Jones tells me. As a country we have become slaves to the cable network news and what the idiot box tells us.

It took us how many years to get to the truth about JFK? Oh yeah, we still don't know the truth.

Read up about how patriot acts 1 and 2 are taking away our liberties. Where I live, police are now being issued the same weapons as soldiers in Iraq. All this stems from 9/11. Frankly, I'm more concerned about the effects that 9/11 (regardless of who did it) is having on our freedom than I am in debunking the various theories.

I may not agree with you but I respect your right to think whatever it is you want to and I'm not going to sit here and insult your intelligence with witty reparte and banter.

I have watched several shows about 9/11 with structural engineers, civil engineers, forensic scientists , demolitions experts etc... all saying Loose Change and the other theories are just that and why.
