My Cubbies have won five games in a row... it's a bloody miracle. Unfortunately it's also a case of too little, way too fucking late. I really want to see Ricketts rid the franchise of Jim Hendry, and Hendry's replacement fire Quade (or move him back to AAA or something) and hire Sandberg like we should have this last year. The dude is the absolute best manager in the minor leagues right now (en route to his fourth straight Manager of the Year in every league he's been in)... plus he's my all-time favorite player. 
Right now I want to see our young guys like Brett Jackson get a call-up and get some playing time. He's got a good chance to be our starting CF next year, if we move Byrd over to RF now that Fukodome is gone. It's disappointing that our season has gone the way it has, but we've got some potential in our minor league system for the first time in a while.
