=(

Didn't know you had a temperature too HO - I always fine paracetamol is enough for my temp when i get one - plus be careful if you are allergic to aspirin - paracetamol is fine as it is not aspirin, but some other meds have it in them.

Anything you take will take a good couple of days to kick in and make any difference, so if you go to that store today, you can get something - paracetamol is as good as anything, but to be sensible about this, if it's a throat infection causing yr temp, then a doc will be needed to give you antibiotics for the infection. That is what will help bring yr temp down then, along with paracetamol. An infection causes high temperature.

Hope you feel better soon. :)

Thanks guys. I'm gonna go in order and take V's advice, but if that doesn't work...then I'll go to CB and so forth.

Update! I found Tylenol, but it was the swallow pill kind. It said I coulnd't chew them, so I didn't buy it. I got Halls coughdrops and gingerale, though. Oh yeah, never drink gingerale after having a cough drop in your mouth. Worst taste ever.

Durring the day why dont you take some of The Daytime, Non-Drowsy, congested-stuffy Head, Sore Throat, Cough, Aching, Fever So You Can Get Through The Day Medicine

And for night why dont you take some of The night time, sniffling, sneezing, coughing, aching, stuffy head, fever so you can rest medicine.

and probally a good idea to get a flu shot.

Lol sorry over here we call it paracetamol or panadol

Yeah, same here Livvy. Had no idea about it til Audra said.

This is also a good suggestion Ho. :)

I was trying to get you to go to the doc cos it seemed you really needed to and was showing concern. I didn't realize how difficult it would be for you to go - thought you were maybe being one of those typical males, you know, where males won't go to the doc and will find excuses to not go :D.

Anyway, have a good time home and get well soon. Get plenty of sleep/rest. :)

No, that wasn't it at all. I really couldn't go cuz of school and all. And sorry, but I didn't understand Haus's comment really. What is this:

Coughing, sneezing, diarrhea, heartburn, indigestion, mowing the lawn, do your homework, sore throat kind of medicine??? :smiley24:

lol - Haus didn't mention mowing the lawn or homework.

What I think he was saying, is that there is medicine that's in liquid form that you can have - one type in the day and another at night. over here we call them day nurse and night nurse. The day Nurse one is the non-drowsy one.

I am not a great taker of medicines and don't have the day and night nurse, but that's what I think Haus is describing anyway - again, it may well be called something different in America to what we call it. ;)

Mkay...I was just wondering how they had a medicine that had all them combined into one box, that's all.
