I'm not sure what board this is supposed to be in, but I kinda have a problem. I've been sick for 3 straight days now and I'm up at college. I have no car or anything, so that means I can't get any medicine to help myself. I know Freebie keeps telling me to see a doctor and get medicine, but I can't do that when I'm up at school going to classes. I also noticed I have a high fever which has been annoying to me all day long. I went to the store today to pick up some food and I checked my stuff out at the register. The lady handed me back my change, but I dropped it cuz I was shaking too much.

Could a high fever cause me to shake around a lot? Also, I'm going back home this Friday, so maybe this'll all go away when I head back home and get some real medicine. My point is I was wondering if shaking is caused by a high fever cuz I can't help myself up at school.

Thanks for replying. I know I need something to take, but I can't go anywhere to get anything. I feel like this is God's revenge upon me for being mean all my life...trying to make me suffer. Okay, I don't wanna get into that. Thanks for helping once again.

Hi House. Sorry to hear you still feeling sick. I don't think you should wait till you go home w/end coming to get medicine or visit doctor.

The college you go to. There must be someone you could go to to tell them how you're feeling. I'm assuming there are lots of people in the college including teachers.

First thing you should do is call your parents and update them and let them advise you what to do. Between them and the college they ought to be able to organise for you to get seen to ASAP. Don't wait.

A fever is basically your body's way of fighting off some sort of infection. Something that will help is a tylenol and wet down a rag with cold water and stick it on your forehead.

I know you're a college student and a doctors visit it out of the question, so I honestly couldn't help you anymore. Vs is right though, Amy would be able to help you the best to let you know what you could do to get rid of the fever.

I don't have a thermometer or anything. It feels pretty hot too, plus when I take a shower I use warm water. :unsure:
