Well good then .. sometimes zero tolerance is needed.
I activated that at my house. I have told my son 5,000 times to keep his video games picked up out of the floor. I told him for the last time a month ago that if I found one laying in the floor, out of it's case (exposed to damage) that I would take it and he might w9uldn't get it back for 3 months.
I now have 5 disks.
Rules are set in place for a reason .. especially when they involve children. You have to set an example for childrne .. in order for them to form the foundation they need to become a law abiding citizen.
If they are not punished for serious offenses .. theyw ill continue to push the envelope on more and more serious things .. eventually coming to the conclusion that "I can do whatever I want, when I want .. and FUCK the rules".
I don't think that is the way children need to learn things.
