So you've been to poetry.com? This is a scam website--sorry. The 'book' called immortal verses is published very often, anyone who sends in a poem receives a letter saying they have been selected for the editors choice award and they will be published in a poetry book... and you can receive a copy of this book for 50$ and a plaque for 30$ and a pin for 25$ and all this stuff--but it's just a ploy to get you to spend money. Yes people do win the yearly and monthly contests, but it is nothing compared to the money they get getting you to buy the book and awards and stuff.

No doubt your poems are good, but don't trust websites like poetry.com.

Ha yeah I kinda figured the buying the book and shi..tuff was a scam but I did place in the top 100 in the competition... they sent me a medal for free... but I didn't buy the plaque or anything... but thank you for the heads up and the compliment none the less
