up until college I wanted to be a lawyer. I like to argue. :24:
Due my own laziness I ended up with a good paying job that I hate. The interesting thing is my dad late in his life told me the same thing. Would have been nice to know that as a kid. Seeing how it was a family business. I deal in a service business that has made me very untrusting of people. I was not like that growing up.
In my 20's I had a dream of being in the music industry. I can not play a guitar at all but I used to make tons of noise with it. I would have liked to been able to be a producer. One who would sit at the board and determine what stays and goes on a song mix.

My wife does all the cooking. If I cook something for myself that is one thing but she has full control when cooking for the family. She is bitchy about that. Does not want anybody to get involved. But we have always had a casual thing about dinner. Not one where we sit down to all eat every night.Funny stuff about the women!
What's your favorite BBQ food? And.... Who does the BBQing at your place?
She is one weird duck. When she worked a while during the night I would wash clothes or fold the clothes if she had washed them. She would literally have a shit fit at my doing that.
My dad always did the BBQ. Can't say there is any particular favorite of mine. But the very best meal I ever had from the BBQ was a rotisserie chicken my uncle cooked on time at his place. He basted it with something and it was the best.

Plus there is no way to know if the answer is honest.
Probably it would be Monroe or Jefferson and the question would be something to do with how far we have strayed from their vision of this country.

I went out to the store tonite and was stuck at a traffic light and looked over at the apartment complex I lived at when I first was on my own. it came to me that it was 30 years passed since I would have been at this apartment complex living the life of the 70's bachelor. Back then I always mused about what it would be like 30 years later. Sure was not what I expected.

Probably because every day is similar to the last one. Where as when you are growing up every day is a new adventure.

this is another tough one. If you asked me this every day I would probably have a different answer.
One would be to make all funding public for any elected office. Right now lobbyists control how our elected officials act. All due to the chase for campaign cash.
The other would be to legalize drugs. We are fight a war that has no end, can not be won. It's cost far exceed the Iraq war and is far more damaging.

Too many things in the closet to go very far. I have had several people ask though about trying for the city council. not worth it for the little pay and the big aggravation.
My biggest reason though is that I hate speaking in public. I had terrible fears of doing that even for speech class in HS. Back around 20 years ago I got involved in some stuff that forced me to speak at meetings. I am more comfortable now but I have a fear I would panic in front of a real large crowd. Plus I am a plodder. I can sit and ponder responses pretty well but not very when having to think on my feet.
