I went to one year of college
I was not student material. Would have been a waste of money
I had always wanted to be a lawyer. My father passed the bar but never practiced. But it was gonna be too much studying I figured for my taste. If I had continued I planned on being a teacher.
Ended up getting pissed off and went to work as a salesperson at a department store for a year.
I liked some of it but there was no money in it. Ended up eating crow and went back to where I had worked. A long time manager got cancer and I got promoted to his position. 10 years of doing that and then after my brother retired I became president. I was kind of the GM/ Veep for the 20 years prior you migh say.
