I dont understand how come I cant find someone that loves me and wants me.. How come it was so easy for Joe to find someone - even though he is a total ass. Im not an ass, so how come noone wants me?

I'll let you in on a secret .. quit looking. Quit trying. and it'll happen. I tried for years and to no avail. I quit looking for 2 years .. and all of a sudden ... Whamo .. along comes Thrawn. Neither of us were looking but it just happened.

It's hard to not look .. but it's also very healthy for you as well.

GUys have it easy in the "Find" department .. they usually do the asking out .. we usually have to wait to get asked out. Thats why guys are able to find people faster after a breakup than we do.

No .. it's not about being stupid or nieve or unknowing .. it's about loving someone. No one WANTS to see what is going on because they don't want it to BE going on.

The human brain has a funny little habit of doing that. You won't see it or believe it until you are ready to face it. It's just a little defense mechanism God installed, some people have just figured out how to bypass it quicker than others.

And I'm not all to sure that's a good thing .. because once they learn to "do" that .. those are the people who are always miserable. Always thinking their new SO is "doing something wrong" everytime it takes them 10 extra minutes to return a phone call. And that's no way to live.

You will be perfectly fine. Sounds like you need to take a break from the dating scene anyways. Just spend time with your GF's and kids .. let guys go for a while. I promise you in time .. you'll be glad for the "break" from them .
