There really isn't any crap...he talks about the game and what they could have done better...that's that lot of it. So, I'm not sure what you're hearing.

But yep, we can agree to disagree...it's all good. Like I said, I respect the guy for his talent.

Sort of like how Gretzky whined in the 80's to get his way about the rules. (yawn) Been through that before :)

I respect him for being a good playmaker but he should be more dynamic and the hype about him now is just tiring... bleh

You can't fault him for the media hype...they have created that beast...not Sid. In fact the media has manufactured a rivalry between Ovechkin and Crosby...meanwhile, they are friends and respect each other as it should be.

The stuff you said before about magazines, clothing lines, being a good boyscout; he's never said that garbage...the media does...and as I'm sure you well know, you can't always buy into that...hate the media not the player. If anything, the stuff that ACTUALLY comes out of his mouth is anything but that.

As for being more dynamic have you seen him play? He's plenty dynamic where dynamic is due.

I wish too they would downsize the league. Too many teams.

I was lucky that as a kid in the early 60's I could watch Saturday Night In Canada as we live close enough to the border to get a Canadian channel. The funny part is a sweet old lady who babysat for us when the parents went on vacation was the one who made me watch it. she was a huge fan.

Dear Loser-Hoser-Poser,
just who the fuck does the scheduling for the NHL? do you realize there are multiple hockey rivalries that are so good that we would be glad to swap out some games for some real meaningful ones? For instance the Original Six should play twelve games against one another and the rest of the league can just sit and spin on its on ice. I would love to see Detroit more than once a year. We don't need the Coyotes!!!! Bring back the Winnipeg Jets as well!

yeah we play Columbus I think 16 games.

Bettman has destroyed what was an up and coming sport. obviously it is an old sport and for the original six cities is revered. but on the national stage it probably is in 4th place now. who would have ever thought Nascar would be ahead of hockey. that is just wrong in so many ways. and not because i hate racing. i like it too. but hockey should be up there behind football and baseball. it is way better than basketball. just Bettman and his bumbling idiots have zero marketing abilities.
