Absolutely, no. Not. Never. No way.

Procration is a basic, fundamental right. Life, liberty, the persuit of happiness... The government (in the US anyhow)simply has no authority to infringe on this basic right. None. Giving the state the ability to wield that sort of power over the people is just plain wrong.

I voted yes. My ex-sister-in-law took a curling iron to the foot of my nephew and then blamed it on my brother. I spent my first year of college being interviewed by juvenile investigators and DFACS case workers by phone between classes. Eventually a polygraph was set up for her, me (b/c I was the one that found the injury), and my brother. They did her test first and then cancelled ours after she failed miserably. She was listed through the state of GA as a "maltreator of children" but all the criminal charges were eventually dropped and she continued to live in the same house as my nephew (she didn't have custody, her parents did). She even went to work in a daycare center!!! Total punishment for what she did??? Loss of custody for about a year, parenting classes, and being listed as a maltreator (which apparently wasn't checked by the daycare center).

Now...she has 3 children, none of which she has custody of. The only good thing she's EVER done in life is giving me my nephew. So yeah, I think unfit POS parents like HER should be forced into some type of birth control.

TOTALLY AGREE!!! My step-son's birth giver (she has not earned the title of mother) has a total of 4 children. all of which are not taken care of and i know for sure that at least he was abused by her. my step son is now with me . however, before we had custody i witnessed a whole heck of a lot. she doesnt get her children clothes that fit, nor feed them properly. she blames this on lack of money but hell the state pays her rent and she is on welfare so i know she has money for food and clothes. there were two things that i witnessed that i couldnt deal with and had to get him the hell out of there. 1. it was a valentines day. i offered to watch ALL her kids so that i could see my little man. there were 6 people living in a 2 bedroom apt. not cool. when i put the kids to bed at night, all of which were in one room, they asked why i left the door open and didnt lock it. i said why would i do that. they said mommy does it so we cant come out. i said what if you have to go to the bathroom. they pointed to potty training chairs on the floor, that were full and disgusting. i could have killed her. 2. my step son came back to our house after spending a week with his birth giver with bruises all up and down his back, a black eye and a busted up nose. when asked what happened he said he didnt do his homework and mommy and daddy jesse got mad. we called cps immediately and got him removed from their home and her rights were taken away.
I believe that people like this SHOULD lose their rights as parents and should in some way be prevented from having additional children. if they do have more kids, those kids should be taken away and put somewhere safe immediately. ugh, just thinking about it makes me angry.
