That's exactly why Alicia and I don't get to drink but a couple of times a month at best...

Except Thursday nights when we play poker... while the youngen is being watched, we each have a Corona while playing... But it's out of our system a couple of hours later when we pick him up. So does that really count?

Well, I will sometimes have a glass of wine myself after he goes to bed (usually around 11pm-1am) .. I don't consider 1 beer or a glass of wine "drinking" really .. I mean .. who's going to be "intoxicated" or unable to function properly after 1 beer or glass of wine LOL.

Then those people shouldn't drink at all, ever, if that little amount of alcohol impairs them that badly.

I drink occasionally. I'll have one or two when we go out... or when I have an especially bad day at work.

I used to drink a lot... now not so much.

Ok, maybe never drinking is strict. Maybe I should only drink when I have friends over, or at get togethers. That way I'm not the fuddy duddy who isn't drinking. Not that I care what people think, but I think that if I totally quit drinking I would probably not hang out in situations where people drank a lot. That pretty much puts a big chunk of distance between my friends and me. I don't want to lose my friends.

Most parents that I know, myself included, don't normally drink while their kids are at home .. they wait to "drink" when the kids go to grandma's for the evening.

So all those posts you made in the drunk thread after ump-teen margies and bottles of wine were when your chirrens weren't there?
