So, I'm sitting here. There are alot of people calling in to get their accesses and procurements completed before the end of the year. I'm getting swamped and stressed because, unlike alot of people in this department, I actually care about my users. So after I get three calls in a row and about 9 different tickets to look into and escalate, I look up and see two of my team mates just walking around and talking! :eek:wtf:

Are we working here ladies? Do you not realise that you're using me right now? Oh dont worry, Rick is here! He'll handle it! He always does!

Just because I handle it, doesn't mean its the right thing to do.

Then also, this lady is calling for access to a certain application. There is only one guy that can approve it and he is out of the office untill January. That makes absolutely no sense! Why wouldn't you give someone his work load or something? So now I have to call an executive and let them know that crap? Great, now I'm gonnuh get my butt chewed for no reason. *sigh*

some companies actually do. i was the warehouse supervisor for a while at Apria Healthcare. and since i lived over 50miles away, they were required to provide me with a company vehicle... seeing as how i was in a management position. it was a beat down s-10, but whatever. free gas and i didnt have to put the miles on my precious mustang.
 
they tried that at first, but im a stubborn fuck when it comes to company policy... especially when i can directly benefit from it. :D

Thats the way it seems with alot of people I work with. You've got your people who work their butts off and then you got a handful of people who walk around acting like they are busy but actually arent doing a thing. Its very frustrating.
Hopefully at your job your boss sees these things and takes them into consideration
 
That's what I'm hopping. I've already gotten two awards, one excellence award and a members first award for the work I do. So, hopefully I can take my supervisors job if they take me on as an employee. Which I hope they do, I really like the work I do.

This is why I dont have a job! I cant deal with people. :confused Sorry to hear that boomer. It looks like we are having our day of dealing with sucky people huh?
