If you plan on having kids, obviously don't get one. But if you've made up your mind to not have any (or any more), you're rolling the dice every time you slap it in. Condoms, the pill etc. aren't 100% effective.

Yeah, but I'd rather get a girl pregnant than get a vasectomy and later want kids, and regret getting the vasectomy, and never ever being able to have kids. Yeah, that may sound kind of stupid, but I really wouldn't want to regret something for the rest of my life though.

that's understandable if you're young...people change their minds back and forth about whether or not they want kids, which I suppose is the reason why doctors have an age requirement for the procedure.
