It is fine to argue, however, we do NOT agree with Name calling! So, If you get pissed at someone from arguing with you, don't retaliate by calling them names. That is wrong. We are all adults here, lets handle ourselves in that same manner. I also want to say dont report a post because you dont like someone else's views. EVERYONE has different views. Its seems no more inflammatory than the average religious thread or was it the pictures? If it was the pictures, I think a better method would be to remove the offending picture unless you think the entire subject is out of bounds, which does not seem to be the character of this forum. I think in the future an explanation would be helpful.

This forum represents the intellectual lion's den. You survive by your wits. Any fervent religious posts will face the same scrutiny and it takes a thick skin to survive the discussion (as most of us know), especially when you use the words "logic" and "objectivity" in the title of your passionate post that lacks those qualities.

a lot of it looked like attacks on his character rather than debating with him.

no one seems to really know how to take the high road when something you dont agree with is said. rather they all gang up and point and laugh at the person who says the off color statement

No, intentionally killing civilians and hiding behind religion is cowardly. Calling someone out for their bullshit views is what any normal person would do. That sort of vitriolic hate should never be tolerated anywhere or for any reason.

Do you think he'd have the stones to say that sort of crap in real life, to a group of people he doesn't know? I highly doubt it.
